Damon began his career working under Academy Award-winning documentarian Errol Morris where he first developed his eye for character-driven storytelling.

A move to Los Angeles led to a turn in the feature film world. After a stint at ICM, he made his way to Universal Pictures.

As the Director of Development for Jessica Lange’s production company, Prairie Films he further honed his eye for high-quality content. Turning his talents toward television programming, Damon served as a showrunner and Executive Producer of over 800 episodes of television including hundreds of episodes of the hit HGTV series House Hunters International.

Damon’s writing has been featured in dozens of outlets and he was a part of the James Beard Award winning team at Serious Eats.
